Men, here is how to win over, date and keep a woman.

Some guys always seem to attract the loveliest girlfriends. How can you be one of them?

First of all make sure that your grooming and clothes always say the right things about you.

Learn how to speak confidently to pretty girls. Practice on shop assistants and waitresses until you’re no longer nervous, and can make captivating small talk without any sexual innuendo.

Learn to send perfect text messages. Learn how to organise a romantic first date. Find the places girls really love. Bring a small gift. Hold doors and chairs for her. Show her you’re a gentleman, and you’ll set the tone for your whole relationship.

Put your phone away, and act like you want to be with her. Fun and upbeat. Never moody or difficult. And be honest! You don’t have to tell everything instantly, but never lie or do anything flaky.

BE EXCLUSIVE

Pay for her! Always. That’s just the way things are done. It tells her that she doesn’t have to worry about money with you. She’ll want to buy you small things from time to time, just to show she appreciates what you’re doing for her. Accept them gracefully.

Wait for her to ask whether you two really are an item. You’ll look weird if you bring it up first. She should also say “I love you” first — but respond enthusiastically the moment she does.

Don’t get pushy about intimacy. Tease her to make sure she know you admire her sexually, but let her set the pace. And when you do finally get naked, make love, not some crazy smash and grab or porn movie lookalike.

Once you’re exclusive, be exclusive! And expect the relationship to change. Fewer formal dates, but more time together.

Now’s the time to start building the long-term romance. Cup her cheek when you kiss her. Discreetly pull her towards you in public. Give her options instead of just asking her where she wants to go for dinner.

Learn how to make breakfast. Even if it’s only coffee and toast the way she likes it. She’ll never forget the sexy smell and the feeling that you’re taking care of her.

HELP WITH CHORES

Notice her likes and dislikes. New clothes. New hairdos. Be there for her when she’s down. Give her space when she needs it, and learn to listen to her. Offer to get a takeaway if she’s had a bad day. Help with her chores.

Show her that you’ve got your own life together. Be passionate about something. Have opinions and be able to defend them. Know what you want with your future. Be competent financially, and open with her about money.

Learn how to compliment her so she melts. Show her you don’t feel threatened by her past, or anything else about her. Introduce her to your friends, and when the time’s right, to your family.

And before you know it you’ll be walking down the aisle with the most beautiful girl in the world.
